City Guide | Boston: Brunch at Fairsted Kitchen

Tuesday, April 1, 2014

Introducing City Guides, a new feature on It's Kate Baldwin that will explore the best spots in my favorite cities! I'll be documenting restaurants and hangouts, both in Chicago and other cities I travel to. I'm really excited to explore Chicago for new places and activities to share with you, but I'll start things off with an amazing spot found while traveling to Boston.

navy accents are just perfect...
flatware + floral
french pressed
bloody mary + coffee
omelet with pastrami, gruyere & chervil + rye toast
green salad
open faced sandwich with pork, miso mayo, radish, shiso & fried egg
1704 Beacon St.
Brookline, MA 02445

My friends and I stumbled upon Fairsted Kitchen while searching for a great place to brunch, and it was one of the happiest accidents ever. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, the decor was adorable, and the food was outstanding. I mean, the tableware alone was enough to charm me (hellooo adorable cups & saucers and gold-leafed plates!)...but add in french-pressed coffee and unique entrees? Sold! The company of some of my oldest and best friends didn't hurt either...
