So while yesterday's post featured some of my favorite decorating ideas (hellooo navy couch!), I need to take a much more budget-friendly approach to decorating. At the moment I don't have enough furniture to fill the space (good problem), so I'm on the hunt for some wallet-friendly (yet, classic) furniture. It's amazing what you can find at Target and Ikea when you know what you're looking for...just layer in a few splurge-worthy items here and there and voila!
Here's my vision:
Neutral furniture will allow for me to change accessories + accents out if I get bored, and splurging on smaller items like these pillows will layer in a little luxury! Plus, a gallery wall always makes things interesting!

Ahh so exciting! Congrats! Love this dreamy decor idea. I've spotted some greattt pillows on One Kings Lane lately! And you are so right about Target + Ikea...although Ikea furniture can be a bitch and a half to assemble (my roomie and I put together three things without a power drill and we had bruises on our hands haha). Good luck, can't wait to see how it turns out :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting! I've been contemplating renting a small apartment of my own, but I feel like my main reason for doing so is so I can decorate it! Ikea stuff can be really fun to use, especially if you go to Anthro and get some cuter knobs, or flea markets often have adorable knickknacks that just need a bit of TLC
