A Quarter Century

This Sunday I will turn the big 2-5. Warning: I’m about to get cheesy…

A few years ago (okay, even a year ago…), when I would think of the age I'm about to turn I would have shuddered. No! I can't possibly be that old. But it's here, and I am whistling a different tune. I think twenty five is one of those ages that when you’re younger, you think, “by the time I’m twenty five I’ll be this and I'll have done that”…and I may not be exactly where 18-year-old me thought I would be, but I’m on the right track. I still have a lot of goals, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come since college.

Not only have I started and established a career that I genuinely enjoy (most days), but I've also crossed some important goals off of my "to-do" list...the most important of which include starting this blog and living alone. I also have some of the best friends and family a girl could ask for. I can't wait to see what the next 5 years have in store, I know that the best is yet to come!

  1. Great post. I try not to imagine where I'll be in the next few years (it's scary, and I'm afraid I'll be no where near it when I reach the goal, and then get upset). Glad everything is going well, and Happy Birthday!
